At the Troubadour

Rooftop Nightwatch

I have never heard a band play with such a professional sound on only their second live show. Last night, Rooftop Nightwatch played at the Troubadour to support The Narcotics and Rialto Decibel Choir, and gave the small crowd an aural orgasm (an aurgasm? I dunno).

The new Brisbane band seemed a bit fresh to the stage, their comfort not assisted by an unfortunate technical issue at the end of their first song, but the tunes were catchy, well-played and well-mixed.

If this is the quality of music that Rooftop Nightwatch can produce on their second gig, I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on this new talent.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be mean, I'm sure the band are nice people, it's just that when you dress like an alternative librarian you deserve criticism.

Nice musical critique, Anon. You can go to little lunch 5 minutes early.

I didn't rate them at all. One chic basically dressed in an alternative costume and played the tambourine the entire time.

If you're a web developer, the term 'tab indenting' won't be foreign to you; tabs and spaces within an html file used to make code look shiny. But what happens to this? It's downloaded of course. How much bandwidth does it use? I was interested to estimate how much...
